Besides, legislators have agreed to increase costs for purchase of the weapon and research in the field of military technologies, and also specially to allocate 10 billion dollars for continuation of the program of national system of antimissile defence (NPRO). According to the administration bill next year besides overhead charges on defence it will be assigned 25 billion dollars on operation realisation in Iraq.
In connection with the general concern of deputies in insufficiency of the American military forces on a global scale, the administration bill s to the Ministry of Defence the right to increase number of overland army and marines on 23 thousand persons. In the administration bill the carrying over article for two years of realisation of the plan of closing of several military bases in the country also is cancelled. The Ministry of Defence will present the concrete list of military bases which will be closed in May of next year.
In the administration bill the contract of lease and purchase at company "Boeing" of the planes-zapravshchikov which total cost makes 23,5 billion dollars for the reason is excellent, that deputies consider its excessively expensive. In the administration bill of the Air Forces of the USA it is authorised to acquire from company "Boeing" of 100 planes-zapravshchikov, however before definitive decision-making numerous consultations in this matter are expected.
In July the senate and the House of Representatives have separately accepted variants of the administration bill of a defence cost. After removal through the coordination of disagreements between two variants, on October, 9th the House of Representatives and the senate have accepted the definitive version of the administration bill which was then is presented on signing to the president George Bush.
